Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field from a UGC-approved university.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data centre operations.
- Hands-on experience with IBM i (AS/400) administration and operations will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in AIOps tools and platforms.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure management and system administration.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, monitor, and optimize IBM i systems to ensure high availability and resilience.
- Drive the adoption of AI technologies and stay updated with emerging LLM and AIOps trends to modernize data centre operations.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting, incident management, escalation handling, and end-to-end issue resolution.
- Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery site switchovers.
- Manage vulnerability assessments, remediation activities, and IBM i security hardening.
- Ensure governance and regulatory compliance through periodic security reviews and monitoring.
- Maintain compliance with banking regulations, industry standards, and internal operational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to improve system performance and operational efficiency.
