Qualifications & Experience
- Undergraduate pursuing a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Full or part professional qualification in Accounting or Finance will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel; experience with advanced Excel functions and Power Query is an added advantage.
- Ability to handle financial data with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform matching of records within the reinsurer PIN system to ensure data consistency.
- Cross-check and validate records appearing in the Reinsurance (RI) module against RI reports.
- Match RI module records with General Ledger entries and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Identify inward remittances related to Reinsurance and ensure accurate matching with General Ledger records.
- Support the clearance and matching process of RI records within the reinsurer PIN system.
- Assist the Finance team with reconciliation and validation processes.
- Maintain accurate financial records and support daily finance operations.
