Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Prime Mover / Heavy Vehicle Driving Licence is mandatory.
- Previous experience operating prime movers or heavy vehicles is preferred.
- Good knowledge of road safety regulations and defensive driving practices.
- Ability to transport cargo safely and efficiently.
- Physically fit and willing to work flexible schedules when required.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work responsibly and maintain company vehicles in good condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate prime movers and heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Transport cargo to designated locations while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections before and after trips.
- Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Report vehicle defects and maintenance requirements promptly.
- Maintain delivery records and relevant transportation documentation.
- Ensure the safety and security of transported goods.
- Represent the company professionally while interacting with customers and clients.
