Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel industry.
- Proven expertise in pattern making, grading, and garment development using both CAD and manual methods.
- Proficiency in OPTITEX and TUKA CAD software is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and apparel manufacturing processes.
- Ability to solve garment fit, production, and technical issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
- Relevant qualifications in Clothing Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Fashion Technology, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop accurate garment patterns based on design sketches and technical specifications.
- Create and optimize size sets and grading for garment fitting and production.
- Develop and modify patterns using OPTITEX and TUKA CAD systems.
- Ensure all patterns are production-ready and comply with company quality standards.
- Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, sample room, and production teams throughout the product development process.
- Maintain and update the pattern library with proper documentation.
- Resolve garment fitting and technical production issues efficiently.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the technical development process.
