Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Clothing Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in garment sample development or technical operations with strong exposure to Pants & Jackets.
  • Sound knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, fit analysis, sewing techniques, and quality standards.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience in supervising garment production or sample development teams.
  • Good understanding of apparel manufacturing processes and technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations of the Pants & Jackets Sample Section to ensure timely sample completion.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with quality standards throughout the sample development process.
  • Review and verify technical documents, patterns, specifications, and sample packages before production.
  • Coordinate with Merchandising, Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, Quality Assurance, and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Train, guide, and supervise machine operators and technical staff while ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Support departmental planning, manpower allocation, and achievement of business objectives.
  • Prepare reports and communicate operational updates to management.
