Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 1–2 years of RCM experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Billing
- Collections
- Prior Authorization (Prior Auth)
- Verification of Benefits (VOB)
- Insurance Denial Resolution (IDR) and Negotiations
- Inbound Patient Calls
- Experience in multiple RCM functions will be an added advantage.
- Experience in Surgery and/or Anesthesia billing is preferred.
- Experience with AMD and/or Centricity systems will be an added advantage.
- Excellent command of the English language.
- Must be living in or willing to relocate to Colombo or its suburbs.
- Ability to join immediately.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform medical billing and revenue cycle management tasks accurately.
- Handle collections and insurance claim follow-ups.
- Process prior authorizations and verification of benefits.
- Manage insurance denial resolution and negotiations.
- Respond to inbound patient calls professionally.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare billing standards and company procedures.
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve operational targets.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work night shifts in an onsite environment.
- Proficiency in computer applications and healthcare billing systems.
