Qualifications & Experience
- Successful completion of G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) or G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L).
- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ Level 3 or above) or equivalent technical qualification in Gas, TIG, MIG, or Arc Welding will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 1–2 years of relevant industrial welding experience.
- Practical experience in Gas, TIG, MIG, and Arc Welding.
- Experience working with stainless steel and mild steel fabrication is an advantage.
- Knowledge of welding safety procedures and equipment maintenance.
- Applicants should preferably be 45 years of age or below.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Gas, TIG, MIG, and Arc welding activities according to production requirements.
- Fabricate, repair, and maintain production equipment and metal components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and welding specifications.
- Ensure welding work meets quality and safety standards.
- Perform preventive maintenance and assist in equipment repairs.
- Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Support factory maintenance and engineering operations as required.
- Follow workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Required Skills
- Strong practical welding and fabrication skills.
- Good knowledge of Gas, TIG, MIG, and Arc welding techniques.
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment.
