Qualifications & Experience
- A recognized qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Facility Services, or a related engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in maintenance management within a workshop, service centre, automotive, or engineering environment.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and safety practices.
- Experience working with sophisticated building management systems will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working effectively with operational teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage maintenance activities to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficient performance of workshop equipment and machinery.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure efficient operation of utilities and facility infrastructure.
- Maintain high standards of workplace safety and equipment reliability.
- Coordinate maintenance schedules and resource allocation for maximum operational efficiency.
- Lead and supervise maintenance teams while promoting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor maintenance performance and implement strategies to improve operational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with operational teams to ensure uninterrupted workshop activities.
