Qualifications & Experience

  • 3-year Nursing Diploma or BSc in Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • The qualification should include an approved theoretical and practical training programme.
  • 3–8 years of hospital nursing experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
  • Strong clinical knowledge of intensive care nursing practices.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the Medical Intensive Care Unit.
  • Ensure patient comfort, safety, and compliance with hospital clinical protocols.
  • Assist doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare teams during medical procedures.
  • Monitor patients’ conditions continuously and respond promptly to medical emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and complete nursing documentation and patient records.
  • Adhere to hospital quality standards, infection control procedures, and patient safety guidelines.
  • Support patient recovery through compassionate and professional nursing care.
